I feel so lucky to have been part of the YAE project in Thessaloniki. Thanks to the project I got to meet so many inspiring people who strive to have an impact and make a difference. People who are able to see beyond the differences and connect with those who have the same passion and fire within them. I think we would all agree that the world needs more of these people in order to be a better and safer place for everyone.
I'd also like to thank you all for sharing your stories as these taught as a most invaluable lesson: Sometimes you simply have no control over the bad things that happen to you but what you do have is the freedom to respond to them any way you want. And this is what reveals your true self and defines who you are!
